What we can’t do
BoatOut is a small, independent, ad-supported site — not a marine dealer, lender, surveyor, or repair shop — so we can’t weigh in on your specific boat, financing offer, or repair. The calculators are built to help you run those numbers yourself, not to replace a survey, a mechanic, or a loan officer. For anything safety-critical, such as towing weight or ground tackle, check your boat’s, engine’s, and tow vehicle’s own documentation rather than relying on any online estimate, including ours.
We don’t promise a response time, but we do read what comes in.
